About the role

Altera develops semiconductor technology. The Security Operations Center Lead will direct global security monitoring, incident response, detection improvement, analyst workflows, and SOC performance reporting.

What you'll do

Lead daily SOC monitoring, triage, investigation, escalation, and incident coordination
Own incident procedures, response playbooks, escalation paths, and post-incident reviews
Improve security monitoring, detection use cases, telemetry coverage, and response automation
Coordinate investigations and remediation with internal teams and managed security providers
Establish SOC performance metrics and operational reporting
Oversee analyst workflows, shift handoffs, evidence handling, and quality reviews
