About the role

Altera develops semiconductor technology and operates in India across Bangalore and Hyderabad. This HR business partner will guide India leaders on workforce priorities, employee relations, compliance, talent programs, and local implementation of global HR initiatives.

What you'll do

Advise India leaders on workforce planning, organization design, and people priorities
Lead or support talent reviews, succession planning, retention, and performance programs
Use workforce insights to identify trends and measure progress
Guide employee-relations matters, investigations, grievances, and disciplinary processes
Coordinate India HR priorities with specialist teams and global HR colleagues
Support benefits implementation, vendor coordination, communications, and case resolution
