About the role
DigitalOcean builds scalable cloud infrastructure and services for software builders. This engineer will guide secure system design and build tools, services, and safeguards that integrate security into engineering workflows.
What you'll do
- Assess security across infrastructure, applications, people, and processes
- Threat model systems with product managers, designers, and engineers
- Review source code and define security requirements
- Build security services, tools, and libraries with secure defaults
- Integrate security remediation tools into CI/CD workflows
- Train engineers and explain the impact of security events
