About the role
Mercari operates a global C2C marketplace and related services, including mobile payments. You will define test strategies, build automation, assess quality risks, and improve testing practices across mobile, web, API, and backend systems.
What you'll do
- Develop test plans, cases, and strategies from business and technical requirements
- Build and maintain automation for mobile, web, API, and backend systems
- Identify quality risks and drive mitigation with engineering teams
- Strengthen CI/CD quality gates and promote testability
- Analyze test results and product data to recommend improvements
- Coach engineers and mentor team members on quality practices
