Software Engineer

Broadcom's cybersecurity work includes network traffic analysis, malware research and intrusion detection. This analyst will analyze malware and traffic, write and tune Suricata detection rules, and map findings to threat intelligence.

• Analyze malware samples and PCAPs to extract network indicators of compromise
• Research CVEs and author Suricata IDS/IPS rules
• Test detection logic against PCAP repositories and reduce false positives
• Map detection triggers to MITRE ATT&CK techniques
• Tune Suricata signatures to improve throughput and reduce sensor latency
