Software Engineer

Broadcom's cybersecurity team analyzes network traffic and malware to develop intrusion detection. This analyst will investigate malware and traffic, create and tune Suricata rules, and map detections to threat techniques.

• Analyze malware samples and PCAPs to identify network indicators of compromise
• Research CVEs and write Suricata IDS/IPS rules
• Test detection rules against packet capture repositories
• Map detection triggers to MITRE ATT&CK techniques
• Tune signature sets to improve throughput and reduce sensor latency
