About the role
Cisco's Catalyst 9000 team builds enterprise switching platforms for campus, branch, and data center networks. This engineer will test network software and develop automation to validate features, reliability, and release readiness.
What you'll do
- Define test strategies for Catalyst switching platforms
- Develop and maintain Python test automation frameworks
- Validate switching, routing, security, and platform features
- Build CI/CD validation pipelines and automated test suites
- Analyze network issues using protocol debugging and packet tools
- Mentor team members on networking and test automation
