About the role
GlobalFoundries provides semiconductor design, development and fabrication services to technology companies. The analyst will monitor and investigate security incidents, conduct threat hunting, and improve the Cyber Defense Operations Center’s capabilities.
What you'll do
- Monitor, investigate and respond to cybersecurity events and incidents
- Analyze SIEM and EDR/XDR data and conduct threat hunting
- Track vulnerability and security posture risks through remediation
- Automate repetitive security monitoring, investigation and response activities
- Evaluate security processes, use cases and tools for improvements
- Provide technical escalation and guidance during complex security incidents
