About the role
Thermo Fisher Scientific develops products and services that support scientific research and healthcare. This engineer will build and operate secure Databricks data platforms and deliver data, AI, and analytics solutions.
What you'll do
- Configure and govern Databricks workspaces, clusters, policies, and environments
- Automate platform infrastructure and deployments with Terraform and CI/CD
- Build and optimize Spark, PySpark, and Delta Lake data pipelines
- Develop ML and generative AI workflows using Databricks and MLflow
- Create analytical datasets, semantic models, KPIs, and dashboards
- Monitor and troubleshoot production data, AI, and analytics workloads
