About the role
Target operates compute and private cloud infrastructure for its technology platforms. This engineer will build and operate virtualization platforms, infrastructure services, and automation while improving reliability and production operations.
What you'll do
- Design and build scalable compute infrastructure and platform services
- Develop production services and infrastructure components using Go
- Build and operate virtualization platforms with KVM, libvirt, and Linux
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, testing, and operations
- Instrument platforms with observability tools and troubleshoot production issues
- Improve availability, performance, scalability, and failure recovery
