Staff Design Engineer

Broadcom develops semiconductor products, and this role focuses on system-on-chip physical design. The engineer will execute implementation, verification and optimization activities to meet timing, congestion and area targets.

• Perform block-level floor planning, partitioning and placement
• Run clock tree synthesis, routing and physical verification
• Analyze timing, crosstalk, noise and power
• Implement timing and functional engineering change orders
• Resolve congestion and close timing to meet design targets
• Guide other team members on physical design activities
