About the role
AECOM provides infrastructure and environmental consulting services, including ecological work for projects in the UK and international markets. The Assistant Ecologist will support ecological assessments, biodiversity analysis, reporting and project delivery.
What you'll do
- Research designated sites, habitats and protected species records
- Analyse ecological survey data and imaging outputs
- Support Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and offsetting calculations
- Assist with ecological impact and habitats regulations assessments
- Help prepare species licence applications, management plans and mitigation measures
- Coordinate field surveys and support project teams
