About the role
AECOM provides engineering and infrastructure services, including energy and transmission projects. The Associate Director will design and review primary substation systems and coordinate technical deliverables across project teams.
What you'll do
- Design primary substation systems and equipment layouts
- Prepare single-line diagrams, equipment sizing, and layout plans
- Develop grounding, lightning protection, and HVDC or HVAC designs
- Coordinate electrical designs with civil teams and external vendors
- Prepare equipment specifications, bills of materials, and supporting documentation
