About the role
Quince is a manufacturer-to-consumer retail brand using proprietary technology, AI, and analytics to deliver quality products at lower prices. You will lead data engineers and own the delivery, reliability, quality, modeling, and cost of business-critical data products.
What you'll do
- Lead, hire, coach, and develop a team of data engineers
- Own domain dataset lifecycles and the ETL roadmap
- Set data modeling, transformation, testing, and code review standards
- Manage dataset freshness, accuracy, availability SLAs, and incident response
- Partner with Analytics, Marketing, Product, and Data Platform teams
- Monitor pipeline compute and storage costs and improve efficiency
