About the role
Wabtec provides equipment, systems, and digital solutions for rail transportation and related industries. This technical leader will develop and validate electric-drive control systems, modernize embedded platforms, and guide technical decisions across engineering teams.
What you'll do
- Develop control algorithms and software architectures for converter and traction motor systems
- Validate control functions through simulation, SIL, PIL, HIL, laboratory, and field testing
- Integrate and optimize embedded software using C/C++
- Lead controller modernization and migration to next-generation platforms
- Investigate field issues and drive reliability improvements
- Define control-system roadmaps and mentor engineers
