About the role
Wabtec provides equipment, software and services for rail, transit and other transportation markets. You will develop and sustain embedded platform software, including board support packages, core services and middleware for its MCA architecture.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, maintain and test platform software, BSPs and middleware
- Derive platform software requirements and interfaces from system requirements
- Develop and execute hardware/software and software/software test plans
- Troubleshoot platform failures and defects across test environments
- Lead software quality practices and guide the team’s delivery
- Review control system requirements and validate platform capabilities
