About the role
Cadence develops semiconductor design technologies, and this team works on DDR5 PHY IP. The Firmware Engineer will develop and debug embedded firmware, implement training algorithms, and support verification and silicon bring-up.
What you'll do
- Develop bare-metal DDR5 PHY firmware for microcontrollers
- Implement training algorithms with hardware designers and memory architects
- Define firmware-hardware co-verification plans with verification teams
- Debug firmware in RTL-based hardware simulations
- Develop and debug firmware on silicon bring-up boards
