About the role
Cisco’s Common Hardware Group develops power-efficient hardware for service provider routers using high-speed SERDES technology. This engineer will design and validate hardware, support bring-up and qualification, and troubleshoot product issues through sustaining.
What you'll do
- Capture hardware schematics using Cadence and Allegro
- Collaborate with ASIC, FPGA, and software teams during hardware bring-up
- Support product qualification and design validation
- Debug lab issues and analyze system logs
- Support product sustaining and investigate field failures
