About the role
Scimplify develops and manufactures advanced materials, including specialty chemicals and materials for energy, life sciences and crop sciences. The metallurgist will support process assessments, laboratory and plant coordination, testing, analysis and technical documentation for the rare earth elements business unit.
What you'll do
- Evaluate metallurgical processes, extraction methods and material recovery routes
- Coordinate laboratory testing, sample preparation and experimental activities
- Gather process data from plants, manufacturing partners and suppliers
- Analyze materials for composition, purity, impurities and recovery performance
- Organize process parameters, test results and material balance data
- Prepare reports, test summaries and product specifications
