About the role
BD develops medical technology products, including products for specimen management. The Lead Design Engineer will develop and evaluate product designs, test methods, and engineering solutions across product development.
What you'll do
- Develop technical solutions to complex product engineering problems
- Design in vivo and in vitro models to evaluate products
- Create test methods and fixtures and conduct measurement system analysis
- Plan, execute, and analyze design of experiments
- Lead bench studies, design verification, and validation activities
- Analyze data and present results to technical and business teams
