About the role
Cadence develops technology design systems and works in semiconductor design. The Lead Design Engineer will plan and execute hardware verification, debug design issues, analyze coverage, and provide technical guidance.
What you'll do
- Define verification strategy and testbench architecture
- Develop test cases and constrained-random stimulus
- Debug design issues with design engineers
- Analyze functional and code coverage metrics
- Oversee gate-level simulation and approve verification sign-off
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate verification timelines
