About the role
Cepheid develops molecular diagnostic systems and tests for healthcare and life sciences. The engineer will develop and validate electronic hardware, improve manufacturability and reliability, and support production and suppliers.
What you'll do
- Implement design changes to improve manufacturability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
- Transition products from development into full-scale manufacturing
- Conduct and supervise component and system testing
- Investigate system issues and lead redesign, verification, and validation
- Oversee contract manufacturers and suppliers and address performance issues
