About the role
Wabtec provides equipment, digital solutions, and services for rail, transit, and other transportation markets. The engineer will define locomotive energy-management system requirements, interfaces, and validation plans while supporting embedded software and testing teams.
What you'll do
- Define system and subsystem requirements for locomotive energy-management features
- Manage interfaces across subsystems and develop design documentation
- Support software and validation engineers on feature development
- Define system validation plans and ensure requirement-to-test traceability
- Review technical proposals, risks, and engineering cost estimates
