About the role
Cadence develops Genus, logic synthesis software used to optimize digital ASIC designs for power, performance and area. The Product Engineer verifies features, investigates synthesis and timing issues, supports customers and field engineers, and documents product requirements.
What you'll do
- Verify Genus features and run experiments to determine optimal solutions
- Investigate physical-aware synthesis and timing closure problems
- Support field engineers and customers using Genus
- Test interoperability between Genus and other digital design tools
- Gather requirements and document specifications for new features
