About the role
Thermo Fisher Scientific develops software for scientific instruments and laboratory solutions. This engineer will design and execute manual and automated tests, manage defects, and support quality and release readiness.
What you'll do
- Lead functional testing for complex software workflows
- Design test strategies, scenarios, and detailed test cases
- Develop desktop GUI automation using Squish GUI Tester
- Build browser automation frameworks with Playwright, Python, and Pytest
- Integrate regression suites into CI/CD pipelines and analyze failures
- Triage defects, verify fixes, and support user acceptance testing
