Lead Software Engineer

Capital One's Machine Learning eXperience team builds and supports enterprise GenAI and machine-learning platforms and products. This engineer will develop platform capabilities, APIs, SDKs, and AI/ML applications, and support their users.

• Lead technology projects involving distributed systems, platform engineering, and AI/ML applications
• Design and develop APIs, SDKs, libraries, microservices, and developer tools
• Integrate LLMs, RAG, agents, and orchestration into enterprise platforms
• Build AI observability, evaluation, monitoring, and responsible AI capabilities
• Support users of owned platforms and products
• Mentor members of the engineering community
