About the role
Cisco's Common Hardware Group develops hardware platforms for switching, routing and wireless products, while Enterprise Routing builds edge and access routing products. You will lead the Bangalore hardware engineering team through routing product design, development, qualification and production.
What you'll do
- Lead hardware design engineers delivering next-generation routing products
- Drive hardware product development from concept through production
- Guide requirements, specifications, design, testing and volume production introduction
- Coordinate with software, mechanical, ECAD, signal integrity, diagnostics, test and manufacturing teams
- Investigate customer and production issues and implement corrective measures
- Manage vendors and ensure components meet quality and project specifications
