About the role
AECOM delivers engineering and infrastructure services for energy and other sectors. This engineer will lead a team designing primary systems for high-voltage transmission and distribution substations.
What you'll do
- Lead and mentor primary engineers and technical specialists
- Design primary electrical systems for transmission and distribution projects
- Prepare substation layouts, calculations, specifications and technical drawings
- Coordinate primary designs with civil teams and procurement requirements
- Review design calculations and drawings for quality and code compliance
- Support bids, client meetings, budgets and engineering schedules
