About the role
Collins Aerospace develops avionics systems and aerospace technologies for commercial and military aviation. This engineer will verify safety-critical avionics software, analyze coverage and resource margins, and build test automation tools.
What you'll do
- Perform software verification and validation under DO-178B/C
- Execute emulator-based hardware-software integration tests
- Analyze structural and model coverage
- Assess memory, stack, and timing margins
- Develop verification automation tools using C# and Python
- Verify avionics communication interfaces and manage configuration traceability
