About the role
Frauscher and Wabtec provide equipment, software and services for rail transportation, including train detection and wayside control solutions. The Product Engineer will support product changes, documentation, testing, manufacturing, troubleshooting and reliability improvements.
What you'll do
- Manage product lifecycle activities, including engineering changes and obsolescence
- Prepare and maintain drawings, specifications, BOMs and test documentation
- Support product change requests and ensure changes are evaluated and implemented
- Coordinate prototype development, inspections, validation and product testing
- Analyze field issues and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions
- Provide technical support to production, quality, service and project teams
