About the role
Toast provides technology that helps restaurants and local businesses operate, increase sales, engage customers, and support employees. This engineer will design and operate enterprise data loss prevention and secure access capabilities to reduce data exfiltration risk and improve secure access.
What you'll do
- Own the data loss prevention engineering roadmap and control lifecycle
- Design and operate controls for sensitive data across endpoints, cloud, and SaaS
- Build data discovery and classification logic and tune policies
- Investigate DLP alerts, coordinate remediation, and reduce false positives
- Engineer SASE capabilities and migrate legacy VPN and proxy services
- Monitor service performance and design resilient connectivity and recovery procedures
