About the role
Wabtec provides equipment, systems, and digital solutions for rail, mining, marine, and industrial markets. The engineer assesses product cybersecurity, advises engineering teams, and recommends controls and mitigations for embedded and web systems.
What you'll do
- Assess products against cybersecurity policies, standards, and controls
- Support threat and risk assessments of products
- Recommend software controls, hardening measures, and risk mitigations
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for cybersecurity weaknesses
- Develop cybersecurity training and document security procedures
- Advise product teams on customer security requirements and vulnerability management
