About the role
Renesas develops semiconductor products for automotive, industrial, infrastructure and IoT markets. The Product Engineer will own product readiness and lifecycle activities from prototype builds and silicon bring-up through qualification, production release and sustaining.
What you'll do
- Coordinate prototype assembly builds, materials and schedules
- Maintain product BOMs and lifecycle data in PLM systems
- Define test, qualification and manufacturing plans for product release
- Drive silicon bring-up, debug and characterization with cross-functional teams
- Analyze production data to improve yield, quality and test time
- Improve product cost through yield, test and manufacturing optimization
