About the role
WEX is building an enterprise data platform for governed, reusable semantic data assets and AI-native data services. You will develop control-plane infrastructure, reliable data pipelines, governance capabilities, and AI-enabled data systems.
What you'll do
- Design and implement control-plane infrastructure for the data lifecycle
- Build observability frameworks and automated data quality gates
- Create self-service portals and templates for data product teams
- Automate lineage, access controls, compliance, and PII protection
- Develop context and RAG systems for AI-driven data services
- Implement business classifications, KPIs, scoring algorithms, and rules
