Senior Staff Engineer, CAD & Methodology

Renesas develops semiconductor products for automotive, industrial, cloud, and IoT applications. This engineer will develop and support backend design automation flows, qualify tools and design data, and troubleshoot methodology issues through tapeout.

• Develop and maintain synthesis, STA, place-and-route, and signoff reference flows
• Build automation for setup generation, QoR checks, report parsing, and ECOs
• Define methodology standards and validate design flows
• Qualify and deploy EDA tools, PDKs, libraries, and signoff runsets
• Troubleshoot flow, tool, and infrastructure issues through tapeout
