About the role
Micron develops memory and storage products, including NAND-based SSD systems. This engineer will validate SSD firmware and systems through test planning, automation, debugging, and customer qualification support.
What you'll do
- Define and execute SSD validation plans, cases, and automation
- Develop automated tests for firmware functionality, performance, and reliability
- Validate SSD firmware against NVMe, PCIe, and customer specifications
- Debug product issues with firmware, hardware, and systems teams
- Analyze results, identify quality risks, and drive defects to closure
- Support customer qualification and reproduce reported issues
