About the role
Alcon develops ophthalmic surgical and medical devices for eye care. You will develop and test safety-critical software embedded in these devices across the software lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain C, C++ and C# applications using .NET
- Implement automated unit tests and test automation frameworks
- Document software requirements, architecture, design and testing
- Participate in code reviews, risk assessments and design discussions
- Contribute to software development under medical device standards
