Sr. Staff Engineer - Physical Design

Renesas develops semiconductor solutions for automotive, industrial, infrastructure and IoT markets. This engineer will own SoC physical implementation from RTL to GDSII and optimize power, performance, timing and verification.

• Drive end-to-end physical design from floorplanning through routing
• Optimize SoC power, performance and area targets
• Perform timing analysis and resolve setup and hold violations
• Run physical verification, EMIR analysis and equivalence checking
• Automate design flows with scripting
• Collaborate with RTL, DFT and signoff teams
