About the role
Micron develops memory and storage products, including NAND-based SSD systems and solutions. The engineer will lead SSD firmware validation strategy, automation, debugging, and AI-enabled improvements across product qualification and lifecycle activities.
What you'll do
- Define SSD firmware validation strategies, test plans, and test cases
- Develop automated tests for functional, performance, reliability, and interoperability requirements
- Lead validation activities across development, qualification, customer enablement, and sustaining
- Debug protocol issues and drive root-cause analysis to closure
- Apply AI tools and techniques to improve test development, analysis, and reporting
- Mentor engineers on validation practices and AI-assisted workflows
