Staff II Software Engineer

BlackLine provides finance automation technology for enterprise financial workflows. You will architect, build, and deploy governed agentic AI systems while setting technical direction and unblocking Staff Engineers and Technical Leads.

• Own end-to-end AI delivery from discovery through production deployment
• Architect multi-agent platforms, trust boundaries, and financial workflow orchestration
• Build and deploy intelligent agents for financial reasoning tasks
• Implement RAG pipelines, model evaluations, and agent governance frameworks
• Set engineering standards and lead design, code, and production-readiness reviews
• Mentor and unblock Staff Engineers and Technical Leads
