About the role
AECOM provides infrastructure consulting, design and engineering services across transportation, energy, water, environment and buildings. This engineer will design and oversee third-rail electrification equipment projects, particularly rail switch and crossing renewals.
What you'll do
- Design positive feeders, negative returns, conductor rail layouts and cable routes
- Prepare technical reports, electrical calculations and CAD drawings
- Check designs for client requirements, industry standards and safety compliance
- Plan design delivery, assess risks and assure quality
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams on constructible rail electrification solutions
- Support projects from feasibility and concept design through construction
