About the role
Scimplify develops and manufactures advanced materials, including specialty chemicals, through a global network of manufacturing partners. This role identifies and qualifies suppliers, benchmarks prices, negotiates commercial terms, and coordinates sourcing with partner factories.
What you'll do
- Identify and qualify chemical suppliers and manufacturing partners
- Prepare RFQs and compare supplier quotations
- Benchmark prices and analyze costs and market trends
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, quantities, and delivery timelines
- Coordinate with partner factories on capacity, lead times, and fulfillment
- Maintain supplier records, sourcing reports, and procurement trackers
