About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific builds software platforms for scientific instruments, including TEM microscopes. You will develop, integrate, test, and maintain microscope vacuum control software and related Windows components.

What you'll do

Develop and maintain microscope control software and Windows components
Build software layers that interface with supplier-provided hardware APIs
Implement hardware abstraction layers and integrate SCU, PLC, and IO-Link devices
Develop device communication and control modules
Test system components and resolve complex software and performance issues
Support release readiness, risk management, and platform planning
