About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific builds software platforms for scientific instruments, including advanced TEM microscopes. You will develop and maintain microscope control software, hardware interfaces, device-control modules, and tests.

What you'll do

Develop and maintain microscope control software and Windows components
Build software layers and hardware abstraction layers for supplier hardware
Integrate SCU, PLC, and IO-Link devices into control platforms
Develop device communication and control modules
Improve unit, integration, and system-level testing practices
Troubleshoot system, performance, and embedded-interface issues
