About the role
Emergent is building an AI-native platform that enables users to build software using AI. The QA Engineering Manager will lead quality strategy, testing practices, release readiness, and development of the QA team.
What you'll do
- Own QA strategy and testing approaches across product features and releases
- Define test plans, coverage expectations, and release-readiness criteria
- Lead QA engineers through mentoring, feedback, hiring, and development
- Drive defect triage, root cause analysis, and preventive actions
- Partner with Engineering and Product teams on quality risks and release decisions
- Improve test coverage, testing efficiency, and QA processes
