About the role
Emergent builds autonomous coding agents that generate, test, and deploy production applications from plain-language instructions. The GRC Lead will run compliance programs across security, privacy, AI governance, and consumer protection.
What you'll do
- Own SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications from readiness through renewal
- Drive GDPR and global privacy requirements, including DSARs and data residency
- Define controls for AI regulations such as the EU AI Act
- Manage policies, controls, evidence collection, and vendor risk
- Translate compliance requirements into practical controls with engineering teams
