About the role
AT&T develops residential gateway products running embedded firmware across diverse silicon platforms. You will architect, develop, profile, and test Linux firmware and wireless systems for carrier-grade gateways.
What you'll do
- Lead architecture for hardware-agnostic gateway firmware
- Build Python-based automated testing and unit testing frameworks
- Profile Linux systems and resolve memory, race, and CPU issues
- Integrate and optimize wireless stacks and drivers
- Develop C and C++ firmware across gateway platforms
- Maintain network stacks, device management services, and containerized microservices
