About the role
Arcana provides portfolio intelligence software for hedge funds and asset managers to analyze investment performance and risk. This analyst will assess portfolios and securities, research markets, validate financial metrics, and help build analytics tools with product, engineering, and data science teams.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science to build portfolio analytics tools
- Analyze portfolio and security performance, risk, and attribution
- Decompose returns to identify alpha, beta, and idiosyncratic drivers
- Research markets, macroeconomic conditions, and securities
- Validate and explain financial metrics to clients and internal teams
