About the role
Collins Aerospace develops aerospace and defense solutions for global customers. The Senior Lead Engineer will design test equipment hardware, guide its verification and integration, and support supplier selection and technical proposals.
What you'll do
- Design and develop automatic test equipment hardware from requirements through implementation
- Create and review test equipment specifications, drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and assembly instructions
- Develop verification and validation procedures for test equipment
- Drive integration, verification, validation, and commissioning with cross-functional teams
- Prepare estimates and responses for customer requests for quotation
- Troubleshoot test bench issues and support manufacturing root cause analysis
