About the role
Lokal operates focused consumer apps serving users in tier-2 and tier-3 India. The Legal Counsel will manage corporate compliance, contracts, regulatory matters, intellectual property and legal risks.
What you'll do
- Manage ROC filings, statutory registers and corporate governance compliance
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements and maintain contract templates
- Advise on data protection, IT regulations and platform policies
- Manage trademark and copyright filings and infringement notices
- Coordinate litigation matters with external counsel
- Assess legal risks for new products and features
